About the event
Just like last year, this will be a 2-day competition, but ALL ATHLETES WILL MOVE TO DAY 2!
We will have a vendor area with products that support all forms of health and wellness. We will also host several local businesses to promote our community, including various animal/dog corporations. There will be a food truck and beverages on both days of the competition. A designated "Athlete Village" will have onsite restrooms and showers. Parking is available to the public, covered picnic area with grilling, and a kids' playground.
Like in prior years, Sea Dog Summer Showdown is dedicated to supporting the Warriors Choice Foundation (WCF). WCF was created for combat veterans by combat veterans to provide a holistic alternative to reducing suicide rates amongst transitioning veterans suffering from mental illness and other combat-related injuries.
